Flora by Shikoba Bride in Santorini
Are you heading to a Greek island to get married? I mean it’s the ultimate boho combination right? Dreamy location, sparkling crystal seas, azure blue skies, terracotta walls, white washed buiidlings and windmills on the skyline. I think Flora might just be the perfect dress to float through the beautiful streets in Santorini.

Wild, Free-spirited Flora
When Natalie Hamilton Photography said she was heading to Santorini for an adventure and asked if I wanted to be involved, it was of course a big yes! I absolutely love these images, they really embody for me the real energy of Shikoba. When I design a dress, I try to envisage where it might be worn. I wanted Flora to work in lots of settings that you might want to wear this dress One location was a beautiful coastal town overlooking the sea so the fabric and fringing can float in the sea breeze. The couple Betti and Af, they are just beautiful together, I love the energy they bring; relaxed, free-spirited and in love.

Elemental Love
The day before these images were taken Santorini had been really overcast. Folks dashing between rain showers, so Natalie got everyone up on the day to capture the sunrise and miss the rain. It was still incredibly windy but I love that in the photos. The early start was worth is as the light and skies were insane, really just epic!

Embroidered Silk Design
Flora is from the new Solstice Collection and I designed this dress to be a really romantic but edgy gown. It is a pairing of two gorgeous feather light delicate embroidered silks. One with a bold flora pattern, the other with a swirling foliage motif, edged with delicate trim to the sleeve and waist, statement fringing on the sleeve (as always, totally optional) and a beautiful soft fringe trim on the hem. In Santorini, Betti paired Flora with the Jules short gown under, you can also wear it with our beautiful new full length dress “Indie”.

Dried Floral Halo of Dreams
Folky Dokey created the incredible dried floral halo (is it a crown? is it a halo? I’m saying halo as it is ruddy celestial on Betti!) and it is literal perfection with this look too! The dream!
